Book Selection

We picked a book! The one we decided to go with is called "The Frazzled Female" by Cindi Wood. It also has a workbook that goes with it, to help us keep up with the study! We found some of the books used on Amazon for .50 cents if you'd like to get a used book, but I feel like everyone would want a new workbook. The workbooks are around $15 each. So everyone should be able to get out for around $15-$20. Click here to view the used books for sale on Amazon. You will have to create an Amazon account if you don't already have one. And to purchase the workbook you can click here. When you get to that link, a video is going to automatically start playing...so if you're at work, turn your speakers down! If you scroll down the page below the video box you'll see the red 'add to cart' button. Just click there to purchase the workbook. To participate in the study, you don't necessarily HAVE to have the first book (but it is the one you can find for around a dollar), but you will definitely want the second one. It is the workbook and where we will get most of the questions we'll ask and discuss.

We have decided to meet on the 4th Wednesday of every month in Rainbow City. I know several of you will be driving from Boaz, so I encourage you to carpool! The address of the place is:

It is a Cotton States office, and the name on the sign is Marsha Gaskin Agency. She has graciously offered to let us use her office to meet. Also, someone mentioned the idea of us bringing finger foods to each meeting just to have some snacks while we sit and talk. You all can let me know if you'd like to do that. There is a full kitchen there with a refrigerator, so we would have everything we need.

So, get your books ordered ASAP! Our next meeting will be May 27th and we decided to meet at 5:45-6 to get started. The workbook will be dictating the pace of the study and to complete the first workbook session, we will need to read chapters 1-5 in the book (Bridgette, I looked...the chapters are REALLY short, LOL!). So, let's plan on reading chapters 1-5 in the book and having the FIRST section in the workbook completed for the May 27th meeting.

I can not wait to get started on this new journey with all of you! It is going to be a fun, spirit-awakening, female-fellowshipping, get-to-know-God-better time!
